Mechanism of action

Zorvec Vinabria belongs to a new chemical family of fungicides for the control of diseases caused by oomycete fungi.

It is a combination of Oxathiapiprolin (ZorvecTM active) and Folpet, with outstanding biological activity against pathogens, with excellent translaminar and systemic acropetal activity. Active has a completely new biochemical mode of action and is compatible with other fungicides to prevent cross-resistance. It has multiple effects on the life cycle of the pathogen (preventive, curative, eradicant and antisporulating action) for enhanced long-lasting efficacy. Protects treated leaves as they grow and develop, including newly formed leaves.
