Tanos, WG

A COMPLEX, BROAD-SPECTRUM FUNGICIDE FOR DISEASE CONTROL IN SUNFLOWERS, VEGETABLES, VINES AND POTATOES.

Active substance: 250 g/kg cymoxanil + 250 g/kg famoxadone

Chemical class: alkyl urea derivatives and strobilurins

Preparative form: Water dispersible granules (WG)

Packaging: 0,4 kg

Mechanism of action

Tanos® is a fungicide with two biologically active substances: 25% cymoxanil and 25% famoxadone.

Redistribution of the active substances of Tanos® on the surface and inside the leaf. Famoxadone adheres to the cuticle and possesses protective action. Chemoxanil penetrates the leaf apparatus and has a curative action.

Famoxadone redistributes on the surface and inside the leaf. Due to the property of combining with the epicuticular wax, famoxadone creates a film on the leaf surface and acts as a protective barrier, which prevents deep penetration of the plant by the pathogen. Furthermore, famoxadone has a reactivating effect. When raindrops reach the leaf, redistribution of famoxadone on the leaf surface occurs. Famoxadone penetrates deeply into the plant tissues. Rain falling two hours after treatment does not reduce the effectiveness of the fungicide.

Advantages

  • Good preventive and curative protection against problem diseases.
  • Very good resistance to washing after 1-2 hours after application.
  • Remains active on the leaf surface for a long time.
  • Anti-resistance mixture due to the different mode of action of the two active substances.
  • Reactivation of the product by dew, rain or irrigation, keeping the crop green longer.
  • Quantitative and qualitative yield increase.
