A CONTACT AND TRANSLAMINAR SYSTEMIC FUNGICIDE SPECIALISED FOR THE CONTROL OF POWDERY MILDEW IN VINEYARDS AND APPLE TREES

Active substance: 200 g/l proquinazide

Chemical class: quinazolines

Preparative form: concentrated emulsion (CE)

Packaging: 1 l

Mechanism of action

It has a prophylactic effect of increased efficacy, contact and prolonged action.

It has the property of local-system translocation.

It has translaminar penetration, which allows the product to penetrate into the lower parts of the leaf.

The unique gas (vapour phase) tension effect extends the radius of action up to 40 cm from the point of application and allows penetration into hard to reach areas (e.g. closed bundles).

The gas action allows full coverage of the crop surface (tree shoots, leaves, fruits, crown) and control of pathogens in hard-to-reach areas for penetration of the spray solution.

The spores of powdery mildew or oidium pathogens deposited on the leaves of the crop after the application of Talendo® EC lose the ability to form apressors (suckers), so that the pathogen penetration into the plant is impossible. The active ingredient proquinazide, thanks to its properties, inhibits the formation, spreading and germination of spores, thus significantly reducing the level of infestation and guaranteeing protection against pathogens.

Advantages

  • Talendo EC is an innovative fungicide for the control of powdery mildew in apple and grapevine plantations,
  • Thanks to the new and complex mechanism of action it shows increased efficacy and a long period of protection (up to three weeks). Recommended as an antidrug-resistant product.
  • It is the first fungicide from the Republic of Moldova with immunomodulatory action (AIM).
  • Talendo® EC contains proquinazide, the active ingredient of a new class of fungicides (quinazolines) which has no analogues on the fungicide market.
  • The trivalent action is contact, topical-systemic and vaporising.
  • Long lasting effect based on the biochemical action of inhibiting spore viability and stimulating the plant's natural defence mechanism.
  • It protects untreated tissue as well as newly formed tissue after treatment.
  • Due to the gas effect it protects the bundles even after closure.
