One of the important elements of the technology for growing the main grain crop - winter wheat, as well as other agricultural crops, is the stage of preparing grain for sowing.

Improvement of seeds must be achieved by dressing with drugs. Currently, the composition of the pathogenic complex of seeds includes dozens of species of fungi and pests. The threat to grain crops in the first place will be smut diseases, root and root rot, helminthosporia, septoria, the pathogens of which are transmitted with seeds or through the soil, as well as a complex of pests: ground beetle, fly larvae, scoop, fleas, aphids, cicadas (the latter are carriers of viral diseases).

Seed dressing remains the most cost-effective and safe measure to protect crops from seed-borne and soil-borne diseases. This makes it possible to protect young plant seedlings at the early stages of organogenesis. In addition, this is the only way to protect grain crops from smut diseases, since during the growing season the treatment of plants does not allow blocking the development of the pathogen.

The application rate depends on the timing of sowing, the phytosanitary state of the field and is 0.7 - 1.0 l / t of seeds cleaned from impurities.

In addition to diseases, one should not forget about the problem of harmful insects in the autumn. These include the grain beetle, species of intrastem flies (Hessian and Swedish), fleas, aphids and cicadas, etc. In order to effectively control these pests during germination and the beginning of the growing season, it is mandatory to treat wheat seeds with an insecticidal disinfectant - Orpheus®, VG with the active ingredient – acetamiprid, 200 g/kg. Working systemically and moving to all points of growth throughout the plant, the drug provides reliable protection for up to 60 days. Applying 0.7 - 0.9 kg per 1 ton of seeds, you get the maximum protection for your crops.
