Mechanism of action

Ditan M-45 is a broad-spectrum organic contact fungicide for use in potato growing, vegetable growing, viticulture, horticulture and also on some field crops.

Mancoceb affects the metabolic processes in the cells of germinating spores of sensitive fungi species, leading to their death. Mancoceb also has a side effect on the development of certain bacterial species and significantly slows down their spread and development.

Under normal conditions, the interval between treatments is 10-14 days.

The interval between treatments should be reduced to 7-10 days:

• on irrigated crops
• in very susceptible cultivars
• in rainy weather, which favours the rapid development of pathogens
• when disease symptoms are noticed
